Vamp Glam: Recreating Kristen Stewart’s W Magazine cover look
You know what I love about August? The issues. The SEPTEMBER issues. The holy-grail of fashion mags that rolls around once a year and serves as a spectacular prelude to New York Fashion Week. There have been some amazing covers so far but my personal favorite is Kristen Stewart on W Magazine. I’m only familiar with Kristen’s work from some of her indie film roles but she is incredibly talented and perhaps best known for playing a tomboy. Especially in her earlier roles. I have to say, if I ever questioned Kristen Stewart’s transformative abilities, I should eat my words. This cover and the amazing spread inside are nothing but one hundred percent glam and a serious homage to the 60′s Barbella “vamp” glam.
I know I’m not the only one buzzing about Kristen Stewart’s cover look. Everyone seems to be giving kudos for the stunning shoot. And so, just like Kristen Stewart – I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and giving you guys a step-by-step guide on how to recreate this look yourself. Enjoy!
EYES -
Start with a shimmery, white/light silver eyeshadow and apply on your brow bone and in the inner corners of your eyes. I like to use MAC Eyeshadow in White Frost. For that silvery, sultry look use a cream or liquid eyeshadow, such as Covergirl Intense ShadowBlast in Platinum Pop. Apply that generously on your lid and be sure to blend it in. To line your eyes, first use a eyeliner pencil on your waterline. This intensifies the drama and is something I do almost daily to accentuate my eyes. My go-to is MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder. Then, use the same eye pencil to line your upper and lower lash line. To get the winged liner effect that has become so popular lately (and is featured in Kristen’s cover look), I turn you over to my friend Susan Linney. Trust me, you’d be in much better hands if you learned how to do that part from her. Thankfully, she has an amazing article on how to get achieve a winged liner effect on Meets Obsession. You can also read more about Susan’s beauty tips from the Fashionista Friday feature I did with her a couple weeks ago. Top off your eyes by generously applying a volumous mascara to your lashes. I use Covergirl LashBlast Fusion as my daily go-to.

"The end was a shock for us"
Romantic, hot - and painful! In this way, the "Twilight" stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson experienced the final of the vampire saga.
TV Movie: Finally! The wedding bells are ringing for Hollywood's dream couple. For now, though, only in cinemas: In the first part of the "Twilight" showdown (part 2 starts in 2012) Kristen as a beautiful mortal, and Rob as a sexy vampire pledge their troth either to other. And: For the first time there are some really hot bed scenes! We met the young stars for an interview at San Diego's ComicCon.
TV Movie: Be honest: Was the film sex difficult for you?
Rob: Oh yes! I felt really uncomfortable.
TV Movie: Too many people on set?
Rob: No, a fear had rather something to do with Taylor and his fantastic body. Jacob, as a werwolf, has bared all already in the last two films. And to be honest, I can't keep up with him.
TV Movie: The fans will be pleased with the new passion nevertheless...
Kristen: After for year it's about time! (laughs)
Rob: They're very emotional scenes. For the first time I felt like a human, not like a vampire.
TV Movie: What do you think of Bella's wedding dress?
Kristen: I love it! It's old fashioned, though, but that's exactly what I like.
TV Movie: Would you wear such a dress on your own wedding?
Kristen: No, no. But it fits for Bella, and that's most important.
TV Movie: Do you believe in marriage?
Kristen: I like the thought of two people staying together for the rest of their lives. For me, however, this doesn't need to be sealed with signatures.
TV Movie: How would you describe the first part of "Breaking Dawn"?
Kristen: Mature is the right word. This time it's not about fighting, but the fact that we start a family.
TV Movie: The film is also very dark...
Kristen: That's right. Bella keeps saying that she would die for a life with Edward. In the movie she shows how seriously she takes it.
TV Movie: Is Edward the great hero like everyone thinks?
Rob: For me he's never been the great hero. Edward isn't interested in the rest of the world at all. Just at the end.
TV Movie: With the birth of his vampire daughter...
Rob: Exactly. The moment when the baby comes into world, he no longer thinks only of himself.
TV Movie: Part 2 is filmed already, the Twilight saga is over. What does it feel like?
Rob: I'm a bit paranoid and think after every film "That was my last one..."
TV Movie: What will you miss the most?
Kristen: I've been living in a different world for 4 years and I really liked it there (laughs). I'll miss everything.
Rob: Same for me. Especially the last day was a shock. I've never wanted to think about the end, and then it was suddenly there. Now we have to live with it

Jay Baruchel talks to Fangoria about Cosmopolis and Rob
FANG: You and your GOOD NEIGHBORS co-star Emily Hampshire appear in David Cronenberg’s latest, COSMOPOLIS. Can you talk about that and working for Cronenberg?
BARUCHEL: Again, this is a movie that I agreed to do without knowing what I’d be doing in it. I was sort of just keeping my fiancée [Allison Pill] company in Manhattan while she was doing her play. My greatest ambition was to just write horror. And that’s been picking up after my work on [co-writing] GOON. My writing partner [Jesse Chabot] and I got hired on a couple of things, and so on-camera acting was the furthest thing from my mind this year. And then they said, “You want to go to Toronto and do two days on the new David Cronenberg?” I said, “I’ll pick up that man’s f**king dry cleaning.” I’ll do anything to meet him. He’s one of my original heroes. For a Canadian who wants to make horror movies for the rest of his life, there’s no greater hero or no more important figure than David Cronenberg. It was a very, very easy “yes” for me. And showing up there, once I got past the initial butterflies in my stomach and the jitters of not only getting to meet one of my heroes, but getting to work with him, that took some getting through because I was flabbergasted. Here I am, getting to watch him do his thing, in his environment. But once I was past that, it was the easiest job I’ve ever had. It was simple and fun and exciting and I could retire tomorrow because I’m in one of his flicks now.
FANG: Who do you play in COSMOPOLIS?
BARUCHEL: The thing is incredibly dense and ethereal and mostly it’s just dialogue heavy. It takes place in the early 2000s during a version of the dotcom boom. It follows Robert Pattinson’s character, who’s the CEO of one of these tech companies, and he’s on his way to work and he’s trying to get a haircut and that’s the movie. And 90 percent of it takes place in his limo en route to get a haircut. He has all these different meetings with people he works alongside, and they come in to the limo, he has a long, sort of philosophical conversation with them and they get out, they exchange seats, and I’m the first guy he picks up. I’m the guy who started the company with him, and I’m a young, rich, upwardly mobile tech head. We have a four-page long existential scene about the nature of 20th-century living and then I disappear. It was the most satisfying, interesting, exciting and every adjective in the book. It really, really nourished me. I know I’m a better actor, a better writer and a better person for it.

According to E News, Lutz says "When he found out that I was designing my fashion line, he also wanted to do it. We have even started looking for a name"
