Re-casting The Runaways

If I were to re-cast "The Runaways" movie, which Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning starred, may be longtime ago in movie memory. 


Dakota Fanning as Cherie Curry was too G-rated, Disney type of girl.  Cherry Bomb was naughty, jail-fuck-n-bait; hence the corset and garter lingerie worn on stage at the age of 15.  Kristen Stewart I must say was Joan Jett on the screen for me.  I had a girl crush on her for minute in this movie.  However, the gritty love of rock and roll was too rated PG-13 compared to what the 70's rock scene was like in L.A., so maybe it's not the casting but the director/producing of the movie.  

Also, check out The Runaways: “Take It Or Leave It: A Tribute To The Original Queens of Noise, 2-disc tribute to The Runaways, with The Donnas covering "Queens of Noise".  A percent of the proceeds go to cancer research; in which Sandy West lost her battle with cancer in 2006.  

Hollywood, Bollywood, or even Nollywood, please make a REAL movie about the Runaways - "The First All Girl Band!"

Another "Transformers" Red Carpet...Another Fabulous Gown...Last week, English model/actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked like a Silver Screen Goddess in a Naeem Khan backless silver gown at the Germany Premiere of "Transformers: Dark Side Of The Moon" and just days ago on Tuesday, she glammed it up once again on the red carpet for the New York City premiere of the film.

This time, she wore a strapless scarlet red metallic silk lame gown by fellow Brit, designer Antonio Berardi from his Fall 2011 Collection. The gown featured interesting seaming detail and a slit so high...well, there might have been a "peek-a-boo" moment, depending on which way she walked and where the photogs were positioned.

But alas, no such thing! Miss Rosie is a PRO! Rosie looked ravishing! I'm usually not a fan of slits that high, especially when it's attached to some crazy feathered-and-cheap-diamante gown on a Miss USA contestant...but here, HUNEY! It is fantastic! She looked like "Jessica Rabbit" for 2011!!! I love that Rosie is embracing THE GOWNS! And why not darling! Can someone give her more red carpet premieres to attend?? Like pronto!
